As the school year is winding down, these summer hosts are busy preparing for @magnifiedgiving Camp Give this July! We are sending 12 (!!!) hosts to this wonderful camp where they`ll be able to experience their community in a new way! π β

New this year is that Magnified Giving has devoted a whole week of camp to Payton`s Lemonade Stand hosts only - so cool! π The kids will be able to focus their time and efforts on causes that mean a lot to them. They`ll be able to explore community needs by visiting various local nonprofits, completing volunteer work and learning about who they help and why it`s important!β

Buddy LaRosa even sweetened the pot and pulled out two LaRosa`s coupons from his suit jacket! π And, the split-the-pot winner in the first picture so graciously donated her winnings back to PLS! On any given day, there are thousands of local kids who sleep on the floor. Seeing the reasons why the parents can`t afford a bed are heart breaking. The need here in Cincinnati is big and we were so excited to see that our good friend and mentor, Todd Foreman, started a Sleep in Heavenly Peace chapter right here in Hamilton County. He and his team were able to start chipping away at the (long) waitlist and built several beds for kids here locally. But they needed mattresses and couldn`t wait on grants to come through so we stepped up and were able to provide them with over 30 brand new mattresses so that they could get the beds delivered ASAP! That`s 30 more kids going to bed tonight in a warm, comfy bed because of YOU! Just imagine those smiles! πβ
