As much as we were saddened to hear that there was a need for more heartbeat bears, we were honored to be able to donate another 100 bears to Cincinnati Children`s Hospital Medical Center just a few weeks ago. As you may recall, these bears have a device inside of them that is able to play a recorded heartbeat. It holds tremendous value to the family who has to say goodbye and allows them to keep a piece of their child with them as they prepare for a life without them 💛 ⁠

The music therapy budget doesn`t allow for staff to make a bulk purchase of these bears which means some families may not be given the luxury of being gifted one depending on inventory. With this donation, every family faced with the circumstance of saying goodbye, will be gifted a bear with their child`s heartbeat inside.⁠

We picked up over 22,000 fliers last week from our good friend, Bill, at Minuteman Press! Each host receives 250 personalized fliers made specifically for their stand. Since January of this year, deliveries made through our Community Serving Kids Program have totaled over half a million dollars!! 😱 Kids and families facing hardships are receiving items such as laundry detergent, toilet paper, paper towels, soap, and so much more. As you can see from a food pantry manager below, this program is making a big difference in our community! 💛⁠

On this day, 6 years ago, Payton decided she wanted to host a lemonade stand in her driveway. She added it to her `summer bucket list` and got to work building a stand with her dad. A month later, she raised almost $800 in her driveway! 🍋 At just 6 years old, she insisted this become an annual event with proceeds being donated. Here we are, 6 years later, a month away from her 7th annual lemonade stand. This year, we have over 85 incredible hosts in all parts of Cincinnati, NKY, Eastern IN, Columbus, and even Cleveland!!! Every summer, @magnifiedgiving gives young philanthropists the opportunity to attend their week-long kindness camp, Camp Give. Here, kids get a chance to explore community needs and enjoy memorable visits and service projects at local nonprofits. At the end of each week, the campers host a Payton`s Lemonade Stand and we are so excited to see the success of week one campers! They raised $423 - incredible!⁠
