Over just six short weeks, something truly extraordinary unfolded. Local businesses opened their doors and hearts by hosting Giving Trees, turning everyday spaces into places of hope. Volunteers crisscrossed the tri-state delivering trees and picking up gifts, donors paused in their busy days to choose tags and shop with intention, and friends gathered to sort thousands of gifts and fill vans to the brim. 🎁⁠

Because of you, thousands of children and families facing unimaginable hardships felt seen, supported, and remembered this holiday season. ⁠

Our gift card collection was truly incredible, with nearly $2,000 raised. While gift cards may seem simple, their impact is huge — helping families put food on the table, foster kids get essentials when moving homes, teens in the hospital feel a sense of choice, and families grab necessities during unexpected hospital stays.⁠

Because of your generosity, we were also able to provide almost $800 in Uber gift cards to Mental Matters, helping kids get to their therapy appointments.⁠

We don`t forget the teens. 💛 What we have realized over the years of doing our Lemon Giving Trees is that there is a certain population who often gets overlooked when holiday donations come in - the teens. Naturally, donors gravitate towards toys. While toys are great, and much needed, we pride ourselves on being INTENTIONAL with our giving during the holidays. So, we study the wishlists that come our way every year and make sure these organizations are getting what they NEED. ⁠

Like we do every year, we do more than just toys. We`re collecting brand new coats for teens experiencing homelessness, slippers, journals and gift cards for teens in foster care, and things like ear buds, portable speakers, lego kits, beauty sets, video games, and much more for teens in the hospital. And, don`t forget the Uber gift cards so teens can attend their mental health therapy sessions. All of these items come highly requested from the organizations who serve these kids. Together, we`re helping to close the gap. 🍋 ⁠
