Payton's Lemonade Stand
Payton's Lemonade Stand sweetens the lives of children facing medical, personal or economic hardship
We don't forget the teens. π What we have realized over the years of doing our Lemon Giving Trees is that there is a certain population who often gets overlooked when holiday donations come in - the teens. Naturally, donors gravitate towards toys. While toys are great, and much needed, we pride ourselves on being INTENTIONAL with our giving during the holidays. So, we study the wish lists that come our way every year and make sure these organizations are getting what they NEED.
Like we do every year, we do more than just toys. We're collecting brand new coats for teens experiencing homelessness, slippers, journals and gift cards for teens in foster care, and things like ear buds, portable speakers, Lego kits, beauty sets, video games, and much more for teens in the hospital. And don't forget the Uber gift cards so teens can attend their mental health therapy sessions. All of these items come highly requested from the organizations who serve these kids. Together, we're helping to close the gap. π
We want to thank Cary Aronson, from Cary's Store, who recognized this need and went above and beyond donating over 250 beauty kit items that will make sooooo many teen girls excited this holiday season! And thank you to Jamie Bayliss for donating so many Mary Kay products to us again this year!

We think the city of Cincinnati could use some good news, so, meet Payton! π
Payton is an 8th grader at Saint James, and she and her softball team helped create several of the lemon tags for this yearβs Lemon Giving Trees. After helping us out, Payton told her mom how fulfilled she felt doing something so simple yet so meaningful... How sweet is that?! π₯°
Her mom, Kate, reached out to see how Payton could continue giving back, and we had the perfect project. Payton spent a few evenings wrapping Christmas gifts for a little girl whose parents are in need this holiday season. She even insisted on bringing her own wrapping paper β a detail that we were more than happy to supply.
Itβs stories like Paytonβs that remind us what giving is all about. When our youth discover the power of kindness, our whole community gets brighter. We canβt wait to see what Payton does next with that big, beautiful heart of hersβ¦ fingers crossed it includes lemonade. π
