Last night was one for the books. 💛

Alongside some of our incredible summer hosts, we prepared and served dinner for more than 300 guests at the Ronald McDonald House. On our way, we even made a stop at the zoo and picked up a tiger to help! 🐯😉

There truly are no words for how rewarding this evening was. These families are far from home, facing some of the most challenging days of their lives. The exhaustion is visible, but so is their strength.

As we cooked, several of our hosts shared personal stories of hardship; times when they too leaned on the kindness of others. That’s what made this night even more meaningful: the chance to give back from a place of understanding.

And as a sweet ending, our friends at Ronald McDonald House invited Payton and Presley to serve ice-cold lemonade at the end of the food line, a refreshing treat on a hot night, and a reminder of the simple joys we can still share together. 💛🍋

This morning, we had the joy of giving back alongside several of our summer hosts—but this time, our adventure took us to the incredible @queencitybookbank ! During our visit, the kids toured the facility and learned how QCBB works to eliminate barriers to book access for children in our community. While our hosts have always had books at their fingertips, they discovered that many of their peers aren’t as fortunate. 💛

Our hosts were eager to help! They decorated book donation boxes for our upcoming summer stands and crafted bookmarks and welcome signs for QCBB’s next book giveaway event. The best part? Each child got to pick out a special book to take home—such a sweet ending to a meaningful morning. 📚

We’re thrilled to be partnering with QCBB again this summer with a book collection at each of our 100+ stands on July 26th! To date, we’ve donated over 10,000 books, and we know QCBB is working tirelessly to get every single one into the hands of kids who need them most. So start clearing out those bookshelves—every book makes a difference! 😊

Earlier today, we had the joy of teaming up with @chickfila to serve a delicious lunch to children experiencing homelessness who are attending summer camp with our friends at @upspringcincy . For many of these kids, a meal like this is a rare treat—so it was truly an honor to make their day a little brighter.

A heartfelt thank you to our amazing volunteers—Emily, Maddie, and Ava, high school students from @badin_rams who personally delivered this special lunch to a very excited group of campers. Your kindness and enthusiasm made all the difference!🍋💛

This past Friday, we gathered up some of our amazing summer hosts, volunteers, and friends for a special visit to Matthew 25 Ministries. We kicked things off by learning about the incredible impact M25M has around the world—helping millions of people every single year through their outreach and relief efforts.

Then it was time to roll up our sleeves! Our crew unboxed donations, labeled items, re-boxed, and sorted them into categories—no small task when you’re talking about hundreds of items! It was a hands-on reminder of how much goes on behind the scenes to make a difference.

We wrapped up our visit by presenting M25M with a small donation—a heartfelt thank you for all they do and a contribution toward continuing their life-changing mission. 💛

Podcast Feature! 🍋 We’ve reached as far as India!! Payton shared her story on a special episode of Story Central - a podcast based out of India! This lighthearted, kid-friendly episode is perfect for young listeners and future change makers! ☺️

At just 13, Payton talks about what inspired her to start her first stand at age 6 and gives advice to other kids who want to make a difference. This was a project Payton took on entirely by herself, answering each question with what she felt in her heart. 💛

Are you ready for a sweet story? 🍋⁠

Tessa, a student at @mcnicholashs McNicholas High School and a proud member of their @magnifiedgiving club, was recently given a meaningful task: to find an organization worthy of a grant. For Tessa, the choice was clear—and deeply personal. ⁠
⁠
She immediately thought of her neighbor and friend, Grant. You may remember Grant as the brave young man who survived a devastating house fire in July of 2022. The fire left him in the ICU and his family of seven without a home. In the difficult months and years that followed, Grant and his family received help from our organization. Tessa saw this as her opportunity to give back. 💛⁠
⁠
She proposed the idea of supporting Payton’s Lemonade Stand. Her group quickly got on board. Together, they spent months researching, preparing, and crafting a heartfelt presentation. And when it came time for the school-wide vote? Their project was chosen—and they won the grant! 🎉⁠
⁠
With these funds, we plan to support other children like Grant. But, what we love most about this story is how both Tessa and Grant turned tragedy into something beautiful. Tessa’s passion for philanthropy grew stronger, and Grant now hosts an annual lemonade stand in partnership with the Norwood Fire Department, the heroes who saved his life. 🍋⁠

We often spotlight one part of our mission—helping kids facing hardships—but the other half, empowering the next generation of philanthropists, is just as important.

Reading through the thank-you cards from the 4th graders at @indianhillschools , who recently heard Payton and Presley’s presentation, made us both cry and laugh. So many students shared how inspired they felt to give back to their communities. Several even mentioned plans to host their own lemonade stands to help others—proof that the message resonated and the spark was lit.

Moments like these remind us of the full impact we’re making, not just today, but for the future.

Last week, we had the absolute pleasure of speaking once again to 200 incredible fourth graders at @indianhillschools Indian Hill Elementary School!

We love this spring tradition — the students are always so enthusiastic, curious, excited, and incredibly generous — collecting over $1,100 for Payton’s Lemonade Stand! 🍋

The timing of this presentation couldn’t be more perfect, as it always aligns with their reading of “The Lemonade War.” To make things even sweeter, a few students have already reached out to us about hosting their own stands this summer — how exciting!
