What started as a school requirement turned into real impact... 💛We’re so proud to shout out Emily, Maddy, and Ava, who chose Payton’s Lemonade Stand as the focus of their capstone project. These three incredible young women jumped in wherever they were needed.

They helped sort and deliver hundreds of birthday bundles, filled with brand-new swimsuits, towels, flip flops, and more, ensuring kids felt celebrated and seen. They showed up to help us set up for events and even represented Payton’s Lemonade Stand at events we couldn’t attend, making sure our community still learned about our mission. They hosted a meal at RMH with us and even helped us sort through $70,000 of holiday gifts - no easy feat!

But, it didn’t stop there… They also hosted multiple lemonade stands, raising nearly $1,000 to address a critical need for one of the organizations we serve. With those funds, they shopped for essential hygiene supplies and thoughtfully organized them into kits that we were able to gift to @upspringcincy , an organization serving children experiencing homelessness here in the tri-state area.

They showed up with curiosity, compassion, and a genuine desire to make a difference, and we couldn’t be more grateful they chose to partner with us. This is exactly why Payton’s Lemonade Stand exists, to inspire the next generation to lead with kindness and turn big hearts into action.

Emily, Maddy, and Ava, your future is bright, and our community is better because of you! We are so proud of you, and the impact you made will be felt far beyond a capstone grade. 💛🍋

We don’t always get to see the smiles of the children whose lives you help change, but when we do, we have to share.

This sweet girl’s family had fallen on hard times this year, so we stepped in to make sure the magic of Christmas still found its way into their home and their hearts. These are the very gifts wrapped by our sweet helper, Payton M.

Seeing this girl’s big smile and reading her mom’s heartfelt message reminded us why this work matters so much.

Today, WE were the ones given a gift.

The magic is happening! 🎁 Gifts are being delivered this week, and we couldn’t be more excited to share a beautiful message we received from two incredible @cincychildrens doctors at the Pediatric Primary Care Clinic.⁠

This clinic offers essential health and wellness services to underprivileged children and families in surrounding neighborhoods, such as Avondale. Many of these families have extensive needs, especially during this time of year. Thanks to the overwhelming generosity of our donors, we were able to deliver a $20,000 donation filled with cozy essentials and fun surprises, including socks, slippers, blankets, underwear, hoodies, developmental toys, games, dolls, and so much more! 🥰⁠

This one-of-a-kind clinic has never received a donation like this before, and the entire team is beyond thrilled to be able to bring extra joy, comfort, and holiday magic to the families they serve. As their social worker shared,⁠
“This will be unlike any other Christmas before at the PPC!” 🎄⁠

And, that right there is what it’s all about. 💛 Because of our donors, this holiday season will be warmer, brighter, and filled with smiles, and every bit of hard work was more than worth it! ⁠

We`re back for Cincinnati`s Sunday night pick me up! On one of the coldest days we’ve felt in a long time, our hearts are feeling extra full! Thanks to the generosity of our community and our Lemon Giving Trees, we collected 135 brand new heavy and durable winter coats for local kids and teens. And that’s just the beginning! Alongside those coats, we collected 173 pairs of gloves, 123 winter hats, 48 hat-and-glove sets, and over 50 cozy blankets. 😊⁠

These items will be delivered tomorrow and placed directly into the hands of those who need them most, right when the cold is at its harshest. Together, we’re working to keep kids in our community warm. 💛⁠

We think the city of Cincinnati could use some good news, so, meet Payton! 💛⁠

Payton is an 8th grader at Saint James, and she and her softball team helped create several of the lemon tags for this year’s Lemon Giving Trees. After helping us out, Payton told her mom how fulfilled she felt doing something so simple yet so meaningful... How sweet is that?! 🥰⁠

Her mom, Kate, reached out to see how Payton could continue giving back, and we had the perfect project. Payton spent a few evenings wrapping Christmas gifts for a little girl whose parents are in need this holiday season. She even insisted on bringing her own wrapping paper — a detail that we were more than happy to supply.⁠

It’s stories like Payton’s that remind us what giving is all about. When our youth discover the power of kindness, our whole community gets brighter. We can’t wait to see what Payton does next with that big, beautiful heart of hers… fingers crossed it includes lemonade. 🍋 ⁠

Watching families walk through the meal line at @rmhcincinnati Ronald McDonald House with tired eyes, heavy shoulders, and worry written across their faces... It`s something that stays with you. It’s a powerful reminder to never take our children’s health for granted. Moments like these ground us and they remind us why we do what we do.⁠

Last month, while our family was away in Disney, our Board President, Nichole, gathered a wonderful team of volunteers to serve a warm meal to more than 200 families there. As many of you know, this is one of our very favorite things to do, even if it offers just a small moment of comfort. This time felt extra special as several high school students joined us, bringing new energy! 💛⁠

Our first trip to Disney was one we’ll never forget! We conquered every park, checked off every ride on our list, and tried every mode of Disney transportation - car, bus, monorail, boat, Skyliner, and our own two feet (89,000 steps!) You name it, we traveled it!

We soaked up the magic of Mickey’s Christmas party and parade, shopped Disney Springs, explored beautiful holiday decorated resorts, and ate food that made us stop and savor. This trip gave us memories we’ll carry forever, memories made even more magical by the Christmas season!!🎄✨

We are forever grateful to the @tamronhallshow for gifting us this incredible experience, and to Tom, our amazing planner, who made sure we discovered every hidden gem Disney has to offer. He planned the most PERFECT trip, and he’s local if anyone’s looking 😉 ...

Our volunteer elves were on the move last week, sprinkling a little extra holiday magic across the Tri-State! ✨🎄 49 Lemon Giving Trees were delivered and over 2,500 lemon tags were hung, all waiting to be picked so they can bring a smile to someone’s face this holiday season.
